Stamp Review Crew - Birch

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Birch cling background stamp.
Background stamps are fabulous for adding texture and a bit of extra interest to your cards. Birch is one of my new favourites and I can see that it can be used for lots of occasions. I thought it would make a great background for a wedding card.

I love the shine and texture you get when you use copper embossing powder so of course I had to do some sort of fold where the card could stamp up and ..... shine! I think this is called a twisted easel fold. Whatever it is, is just something a bit different!

I love having the 2 different size daisy punches now. I punched 3 of each size and layered to get a full flower. The centre was embossed with copper and fussy cut.

The Well Said bundle had the perfect combination of stamps and dies to finish off my elegant wedding card.

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp. You will really see such a great variety of ways to use it.

Next up is my super talented friend from Tasmania, Bronwyn Eastley. She'll totally leave you in awe!

  1. Very elegant! I love how you took the project from rustic to classy with the use of the bronze sheets and embossing powder.
