ESAD 2019 Holiday Catalogue sneak peek blog hop

Hi and welcome to a very special ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) blog hop. Tonight we are giving you a sneak peek at some of the fab new products in the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue. You can order from this catalogue from September 4th. One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that you get access to products early. Lucky us! So 23 of my friends and I are showing lots of great things. Make sure you hop around to see lots of great ideas and things to fill up your wish list!

Now if you are a regular follower you will know that we just moved house and my craft room was the last thing to be set up. I have a class tomorrow so ..... it is finally set up! I don't have any pics for you as the last thing went on the shelf literally minutes before this went live. So I have barely had a chance to play with things in from the Annual Catalogue and can not face the thought of Christmas so I thought I would show you how I have used some of the new products in a non-Christmassy way.

These are the products from the Holiday Catalogue that I have focused on. I know I will make lots and lots of Christmas cards with them but I really love how versatile they turned out to be.

How about a cute donut birthday cake shaker card? The snow globe cups really add a wow to your cards .... in real life! In photos it is hard to cut the glare or the reflection of the photographer who may or may not have been in her pjs. If you are coming to my class tomorrow you will be able to see these in the flesh ... and make them of course! While on that subject I should just say that I will be holding more classes in my new Buderim studio and you can contact me if you are interested.

I thought this was a really fun way to use the shaker domes. The easel card fold just adds that special way to have your card on display. I have added in some micro beads that just happened to be colour coordinated. Amazing what you find when you move house! The Snow Globe Scenes dies cut out the whole for the dome to fit in and gives a really neat and professional finish.

The For the Win stamp set was perfect for this fun birthday card for a sports fan. You can change the ball to suit the recipients sporting interest.

The Snow Globe Scenes dies have this great base for the snow globe. I've used the Noble Peacock foil on some of my cards. It is so gorgeous!

I've added in some of the Old Olive and Pretty Peacock reversible ribbon to jazz up the card.

The Still Scenes cling stamp set also has a snow globe base that you can use. I think it looks great heat embossed in silver.

I've used a blending brush to get a light coverage of Melon Mambo behind this sweet girl from the Silhouette Scenes stamp set.

Some of the new Snowflake sequins add a fun touch to shaker cards.

Here is another version using a different stamp from the Silhouette Scenes set in Pretty Peacock. The sequins are retired - I have misplaced a few things in the move and these were all I could find when making my cards.

Apologies for the average pics of my cards. You'll just have to take my word for it that they look a trillion times better in real life!

Please take the time to hop around to all of the other blogs. You really will get some great ideas plus a very, very full wish list! Next up you off to WA to visit my fabulous friend Nicole Wilson.
