At Just Add Ink this week we have a fun sketch to get your creative juices flowing!
I decided to rotate the sketch and use the circles as a guide to place my cherry blossoms.
The Seasonal Layers thinlits were perfect for die cutting some blossoms. I actually did things back the front for this. I stamped the stamens from the Colourful Seasons stamp set onto my coloured cardstock, embossed with silver embossing powder and then die cut. It was much easier.
Because I had rotated the sketch a sentiment looked funny running downwards so I simply added this banner for some extra detail.
This card was intended to be perfectly matted but I sneezed and slipped so all of a sudden it became a skewwhiff matted card! The downside of having such fabulous adhesive!
