Colour INKspiration Challenge #51 Blog Hop

Hope you are finding time in your busy schedule for a bit of creating. Sometimes that is hard to do! If your creativity is in need of a kick start why not use our latest colour combination to get you going?

Now I'll just own up and say this card is a bit meh! I was exhausted, busy, blah, blah, blah and at a loss for this challenge. I decided to start by watercolouring a rose in the first 3 colours and use the Pear Pizazz for the leaves.

Heat embossing in white is always effective when watercolouring.

Then after a bit of head scratching and a minor tantrum I came up with the skewwhiff design. Well .... I tossed the pieces down in frustration and liked where they landed!

If I had time I could easily add a few extra details (and even a sentiment if I was extra  motivated) to take this card from meh to wow! But I am sure you have those days too where simple needs to be best. Please tell me I am not alone in this!

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black as well as Metallics. Not a member of the Facebook group yet? Just click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. 1. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Even your meh card is stunning! Love a no sentiment card. So much more useful. These roses are super sweet. Awesome card for ordinary and yes, some days it's about completing it without all the bells and whistles.

  2. I agree with Julia. Your meh is pretty darned fine! I always think you can't go wrong with black, white and a pop of colour. The watercoloured roses are real attention grabbers.
