Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!
For this hop we are featuring A Little Wild.
It is always great to drag out a stamp set you have had for a while (and have maybe neglected!) and use it in conjunction with some new products. So ..... I thought why not team these cute little fellows with the Well Written framelits for some fun baby cards. If you had a look at the picture of the stamp set above you will have noticed that when you stamp the images you get the front and back of each animal. Die cut with the coordinating Little Loves framelits and you can make cute tags. Or for a fun twist you can use them for peek-a-boo window cards. From the front you see their cute faces and ....
... from the back you get to see their cute bottoms.
The sentiments in the Little Wild stamp set are really great for baby cards. I used the 'welcome' die from the Well Written set here to cover the stamped word. It doesn't cover it completely when closed but with careful placement you can read the sentiment.
I used to make a lot of gender neutral baby cards but lately I have had some requests for traditional ones. Using my favourite Rectangle Stitched framelits you can quickly whip up lots of this design. Just change the colours!
Using Stampin' Blends is a great way to colour the images. And of course they coordinate with the cardstock so it makes putting together a card so easy.
Now the bear felt left out so he had to be on a card too! This was intended as a baby card but it could actually 'bee' used for lots of occasions.
I love this idea of being able to see the back of each animal when you open the card. I love that they are looking through the window.
Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is the delightful Debra. Can't wait to see her cute creation.
Lou

ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't want to see those cute little bums?! I love how the die cut words add a new pop of detail!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Lou! We just got word that we have a new great-nephew. I may have to try one of these cards!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute cards - forgotten I have this set! When I click on the NEXT button or Debra's name I receive a site safety notice so unfortunately I am unable to go further with the hop.
