Colour INKspiration Challenge #42 Blog Hop

You know it - it's time for another Colour INKspiration challenge and as always we are kicking things of with a blog hop. Welcome also to our winner of #CI41 and Guest Designer Leigh Mahoney. You can see her gorgeous card on our Facebook page. So what do you think about this gorgeous colour combination?

I was itching to crack open my Merry Christmas To All bundle for this challenge. The word thinlits are spectacular and because of the size they are the star of the show! Not much else needs to be added!

I die cut 4 of each word and glued them together with Multipurpose Glue. It occured to me as I was gluing the last layer that it would have been much easier to use Mulitpurpose Adhesive sheets! Oh well .... next time! The 4 layers really make the words stand out ......

..... and some copper embossing doesn't hurt either! It think it gives a luxe feel! I clearly have been watching too much of a renovation show currently airing on Australian telly!

The shine from the copper embossing powder, copper foil sheets and the Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper give the card a light, modern and you guessed it ... luxe feel.

Simple borders and a some Mint Macaron Nature's Twine was all the card needed to highlight the main panel.

Oh and don't forget to show the inside our your card some love too! Off cuts from the card front and an embossed frame are lovely additions.
