Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!
For this hop we are featuring Truly Tailored.
This is such a great stamp set that is perfect for (but not limited to) masculine cards. It is one that I know I will be using for a long time. Unfortunately it is retiring so make sure you get in quick to nab a set before they sell out.
I thought I would team the stamped images with the Silver Embossing Paste but wasn't sure which background would work best. So I did one of each - then couldn't decide which I liked better so went with both! How great does that silver embossing paste look?
I'm on a mission to use up some retiring products before I fall in love with all of my new goodies. So I have used some Dapper Denim cardstock and ribbon, Night of Navy corduroy ribbon and Crushed Curry thick baker's twine.
Originally I made this without the Crushed Curry elements but it was as bit meh! So I prized it apart and whacked the Crushed Curry bits in to lighten it all a bit. Well worth the card surgery!
I quite like how the silver looks on the Smokey Slate base. Subtle, shiny and ..... special?
Masculine cards can have ribbon too! Layouts like this are perfect for using up those offcuts you can't bring yourself to throw away but end up in one big pile on your craft desk - or is that just me???
The Tailored Tag punch coordinates with this stamp set. Good news - it is not retiring!
I also used some of the other sentiments and little graphic stamps inside each card but they were really hard to photograph - close your eyes and imagine them!
Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this fab stamp set. Next up is Mickey. Can't wait to see her fabulous projects.
