Happy Wednesday! Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. As always we are kicking the challenge off with a blog hop. Whether you have just hopped over from my lovely friend, Kelly Kent or are starting with me you in for a real treat. I have had a sneak peek at the crew's projects and they are pretty amazing! So check our these dreamy colours.
I quite like these colours and wanted to also capture the feel of the picture as well.
It's quite a simple card but I was really happy with it. Some heat embossing of this gorgeous cake from Cake Soiree on Crumb Cake cardstock and colouring with Stampin' Write Markers was a great way to use the colours. If you are hunting for how I used the Chocolate Chip check out the tiny berries!
I love adding texture to cards with embossing folders. The Simple Stripes embossing folder is my favourite at the moment. It looks great from both sides. Here I have placed the textured side down. And of course everything looks better jacked up on foam adhesive strips!
The card inside got some love too.
INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use neutrals such as white, black, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Metallics. Not a member of the Facebook group yet? We can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous colours.
Next up we have the talented and creative Rebecca Scurr. Make sure you check out her take on this colour combination. You will love it!
