Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!
This is such a fabulous stamp set, chock full of gorgeous images and great sentiments. I have used this set quite a bit and you can see some other things I have made with it here. I really love the sentiments in this set but I desperately needed some birthday cards this week so decided to put the images to work and pair them with the Perennial Birthday stamp set. There is nothing better than a stamp set that works well on it's own as well as paired with other sets. True versatility!
So onto what I knocked up. I have used the Tutti-Frutti cards and envelopes (free with qualifying orders) and the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack. This card pack is part of the Petal Passion Suite so has lots of the images from the stamp set on the cards. They truly are a quick way to add mats to your cards. The smaller cards don't need any trimming! Winner!
Designing each card was quite easy. I started with ink or Stampin' Blends in the card base colour and went from there. The coordinating Petals & More Thinlits die cut out most of the stamped images and also has some stand alone diecuts like the scallopy edged bit under my sentiment here.
Adding some black mats/borders helped the colours pop. Raising die cut images and adding in a bit of bling like the Glitter Dots give a bit of extra oomph to the design.
I love this colour combo! I also love that you can stamp straight onto the card bases. Adding some black leaves help tie in the Memories & More card.
Some sweet Pool Party fun!
And a little Lemon Lime Twist celebration!
The inside of each card and envelope has the sentiment and some of the images stamped in the coordinating colours. Simple, quick, yet effective!
Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is fellow Aussie, my incredibly talented and sweet friend, Nikki Spencer.
PS. You might have just hopped over from my good friend Kelly's blog. We have an exciting new venture that we are doing together. Stay tuned! Click here to get a sneak peek at what we will be doing.
