Welcome back for another Just Add Ink challenge. This week we are Just Adding the letter 'H'.
I've added a Huge Happy birthday Hug.
I love navy and yellow together so I was really happy when I was merrily splooshing around with my new Brusho watercolour powders and produced a background in each colour that I loved.
I have used Shimmery White cardstock - which I love using with Brushos. When it dries you get the shimmer from it coming through for a bit of extra oooomph!
Whenever I use my brushos I find myself saying "Back away from the brushos Lou". You have to pick the right time to leave it to do it's own thing. As it dries the colour move, blend and the lines soften a touch. On the yellow top layer I failed to step away so there are a few blotches. When will I learn? The blue layer was spritzed a few times, with a few extra sprinkles of the powder added and then (even though it nearly killed me) I left it to it's own devices. I love the variegated effect, especially with the die cut 'hugs' raised on foam adhesive strips to give depth.
To complete the design I have added some words from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and some foliage from the Sweet Cake thinlits set.
Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members added some 'H'. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
