ESAD Sale-a-bration blog hop - February 2018

Hi Everyone. Welcome back for another ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) blog hop. For this hop we will all be showing you some of the fabulous products from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. These products are extra special because they are all ones you can get for free with qualifying orders until the end of March. And let's face it - we all love a freebie!

There has been a second round of Sale-a-bration products released. So much choice! One of  my favourites is the new Basket Weave Dynamic Textures Embossing Folder. It comes in a bundle with the Blossoming Basket stamp set. The really great thing about this embossing folder is that it will be in the next catalogue for sale - and you can get it for free now!

I needed to make a special birthday card this week so I teamed the Basket Weave embossing folder with another Sale-a-bration product - the Sweet Soiree Memories & More card pack - to make this no-stamping card. I have used Bronwyn Eastley's fabulous Child of Bethlehem Pop-up Z fold card tutorial to make it. So here is my version.

I had fun with this. Once I got over the fact that I was chopping into my Memories & More cards, there was no stopping me! This year I am determined to use my pretty things and not hoard them! The cards in this pack are gorgeous and are not just for memory keeping. I have used a smaller card for the front with a few extra fussy cut flowers, raised with dimensionals.

The box of flowers has lots of fussy cut images arranged at different heights. I used the Wood Crate framelit in a different way to create the box. I didn't want the slats, so I die cut from scrap, then traced around the outside and cut and scored with my trimmer. I love how much depth the Basket Weave embossing folder gives. A cute tag and some gorgeous Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon were the perfect finishing touches. For some contrast, I have used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder on the back 'wall'.

This is not the best shot, but I wanted you to see the z fold from the top.

I've added a message panel on the back using another card from the set. I was spoilt for choice!

My good friend Kelly Kent had a post a few weeks ago about using the Memories & More cards to decorate envelopes. It is the perfect way to coordinate everything! Oh and just looks so pretty.

The great thing about this card fold is that if folds flat to fit into a standard C6 envelope.

Make sure you hop around to see all of the fabulous projects using Sale-a-bration products. Next up is the talented Sandra Mastello. Wonder what she has in store for us?
