Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Love - Celebrate You

Welcome back to our first Stampin' Dreams blog hop for the year. You have landed on the Sunshine Coast, Australia with Lou Kitzelman. Hi!

The theme for this hop is love. Rather than make a card for a specific occasion I decided to make a card that be would fit for any love related event - from wedding, anniversary, engagement or even birthday. Plus I got to break open a couple of new products that I got for free from the current Sale-a-bration catalogue.

How gorgeous is that flower from the Amazing You stamp set? I have embossed them in gold, coloured the centres with Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends and fussy cut a couple and raised on dimensionals. Wild Wasabi leafy bits adds a nice touch with the gold and Very Vanilla I think. Because this is quite a simple card, I added some embossing using the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Keeps the elegant feel I was going for. Oh and I nearly forgot! Did you spy the gold 'celebrate'? Bit hard not to I guess. It is another freebie with qualifying orders - Celebrate You thinlits.

Inside the card I have used some of the other stamps from the Amazing You stamp set. I love that you can repeat the sentiment inside with this stamped, smaller version of the larger die cut.

Make sure you hop around to see what everyone has created. You can use the list at the bottom of each post if you get lost. Next up is amazing Anna Krol.
