Colour INKspiration Challenge #25 Blog Hop

Hi and welcome back to another Colour INKspiration challenge. How about these cool summery (well for us here in Australia) colours?

These colours were the perfect excuse for me to ink up my new Happy Wishes stamp set and use my Night of Navy Corduroy and Lemon Lime Twist mini striped ribbons. Oh and these gorgeous adhesive backed sequins.

I love this set. You can build sentences/sentiments around the 2 large words. I have stamped 'happy' in Versamark on Glossy cardstock and embossed in white. Then I simply added ink using sponge brayers, blending them where they met.

The new Night of Navy corduroy ribbon makes a great border. I just adhered it behind my main panel. The Lemon Lime Twist mini striped ribbon helped highlight the smaller words/phrases. And those adhesive backed sequins are perfect for a klutz like me - no gluey mess over my fingers!

I have raised the main panel with foam adhesive strips. It helps to show off the corduroy ribbon edge.

This is such a great stamp set - not just because you can get it for free from the Sale-a-bration catalogue with orders over $180 AUD - there are so many different sentiments you can create.
I was able to ink up a few more of the stamps for the card inside!

I love stamping on my envelopes too. Makes the walk back from the post box even more exciting!
