Just Add Ink #380 - Sketch

Somehow Friday rolled around again and you know what that means - another Just Add Ink Challenge. This week Narelle has a sketch for us.

I flipped the sketch and gave the square a twist and a frame.

Have you taken any notice of this stamp set in the Annual Catalogue? It is called Big on Birthdays. I have only just bought it and it is fabulous. The sentiments are large, bold and in a great font - perfect for this technique which is a version of an Eclipse card.

I have cut a frame after stamping and colouring with markers using the Stitched Shapes and Layering Squares framelits.

When you are putting the card together you simply raise the frame with foam adhesive strips. To add the stripe from the card sketch I used this thin washi tape. I cut in on an angle so that it sat flush again the stamped image. I was quite chuffed when that idea popped into my head!

The inside needed some love too so I used some more stamps from the set.

Make sure you head over to our Just Add Ink blog to check out how the other Design Team members used this sketch and maybe you can enter your own take on it. We would love to see what you do.
