Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Kids Cards

Welcome to Global Stamping Friends' August blog hop. We come from all over the world and will be featuring kids cards for this hop. Whether you are starting with me of have hopped over from visiting my friend and fellow Australian Sharon Dalton you are in for a real treat.

This card is for my niece who is turning 10 in a week. I love that the Pick A Pattern Designer Series Paper does the work for you!

Whack on a pocket from the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle and you have a quick but cute card.

I have used White embossing powder for the stitching and flowers and a scallop edge for a bit of fun. The rabbit on the DSP was too cute not to be used!

When I attach the pocket I like to make it bow out a touch so that it is easy to add something to the pocket. (Like a gift card if Aunty Lou doesn't get herself organised in time!)

Simply using a different piece of DSP from the pack and coordinating cardstock you could easily adapt this design to make a card for a boy. The bear would be adorable.

I used some of the design elements inside the card. That mouse is just too cute!

Make sure you hop around to see everyone's kids cards. Next up you are off to Colorado Springs to visit Kimberley Morris.
