Well happy Friday everyone. A bit of excitement to end my week! For the next few months I will be a Guest Designer on Just Add Ink starting today! I have been a huge fan of JAI for a long time and have entered whenever I was able so this is like a dream come true! So onto the challenge for this week - a sketch from Narelle.
Sketches are great to get your creative sparks flying. I used the oval thinlit from the Lovely Words thinlits to make a card for a friend that was special but not too girly. This is what I came up with.
If you are a regular follower you will notice I have been on a bit of theme this week! Scallops seem to be my latest obsession. The Decorative Ribbon Border punch has one side with scallops that matches in really well with the Layering Circles framelits. Tranquil Tide and Crumb Cake might also be a fave for the week! Don't worry next week I will be onto something else!
Beautiful Bouquet has lots of great floral images in it. I really love these little clusters of white flowers. I have just added some Daffodil Delight in the centres and added some leaves.
I really like the shape of the centre of each flower so I have added some Rhinestones under each centre. Just love the subtle effect of them poking through the centres.
Make sure you check out how the rest of the Design Team interpreted this sketch and if you are up for the challenge - why not enter too?

I love the peep through window. Inside I have just added a cluster of Daffodil Delight flowers.
