After a wild few days of wind and rain our power is back on. Yay! Lots of people in Queensland have been without power on and off due to Cyclone Debbie. I have been very fortunate to have been in an area not hit by the cyclone. Thoughts go out to all who now have to deal with the devastation of it all.
But on a lighter note, crafting can happen in any circumstances, even by torch light! I needed to make a birthday card for my nephew who is turning 11. Tricky! Too cool for a lego card now so ....what to make??? What would an 11 year old like? Well the only answer I came up with was money! So that had to be the focus of my design.
See the envelope on the front of the card? Easy to whip up with an envelope punch board and hides something special. And that sentiment is perfect.

Just undo the bow, open the flap and see what is inside! This is a card I am hand delivering so no need to worry about money going astray in the post. You could also pop a gift card into the envelope.
This card is perfect for the challenge over at What Will You Stamp this week. Make sure you check out what the design team have made as well as the other entries. It is a great way to see the versatility of stamp sets. You get to look at them in a new light.
