Here's to another year!

Here's to another year full of adventures! Doesn't that just say it all. Happy New Year to you all. I hope that this is a fantastic year for all of us filled with lots of exciting things in all areas of our lives.

On that note, I have some exciting news to share - I’m on the Colour INKspiration Crew! It consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators who will create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.

There’s also a Facebook group for Stampin' Up! ® enthusiasts who would like to share their paper craft projects using the colour combinations.

Here’s the deal - Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop. Our first one starts on Wednesday, 11th January.

You can join the Colour INKspiration group here. Make sure you add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in with the challenges too. You'll then have the option to join the Colour INKspiration 'Challenge' by uploading photos of your projects and linking back to your personal blog if you wish to. You don't have to have a blog either, you can just upload your photo to the Facebook page for each challenge.  Hope to see you there!

This card is made using one of the great new bundles in the Occasions Catalogue that you will be able to order from on January 4th. It is called Balloon Adventures and allows you to make this great pop out centre. If you buy this bundle you get to choose from one of the free products in the Sale-a-bration catalogue too.

This is actually a really versatile set with lots of great sentiments in really beautiful, bold fonts. To make the front of the card I have just cut down the pop out panel and raised in on adhesive foam strips. I have cut the borders to lengthen the panel so that the sentiment fitted in.
