Have you ever checked out the weekly blog hop by the CASEing the Catty girls? Every Sunday they show you great projects using different sections from the catalogue as inspiration. The Stampin' Up! catalogues have such great ideas for you to copy or adapt. Today I actually had the time to add my cards to the link for this challenge.
I have taken my inspiration from the tag on page 21 of the holiday catalogue. The tag on the present was the starting point for my cards.
I die cut 3 tags - 1 each in Very Vanilla, Garden Green and Crumb cake - and then cut the trees and reindeer out and adhered to the Very Vanilla base.
Making the cards was really quick. I adhered the pieces of This Christmas DSP to the Very Vanilla card base. The second card is just the reverse side of the first card. Because this DSP is a bit thinner than some others it was easy to die cut the circle in one go. Yay for easy things!
This second card simply has a solid Garden Green bauble behind the Very Vanilla tree bauble.
Thick baker's twine adhered with glue dots made a quick hanger with some holly for decoration.
Make sure you check out the blog hop this week to see what great things everyone has done with their favourite bundles - start with the lovely Kelly Kent and follow the links from there.

The focus this week is on favourite bundles from the holiday catalogue so I chose 2. How can you narrow it down to just 1? I have used the Merriest Wishes and Holly Berry Happiness bundles for these 2 cards.

I think that these cards look a bit fancier than the time it took me to make them. They were very quick to make and it fits my motto - minimum effort for maximum effect. We are all busy and I love it when I can make a card that looks great but in reality is very quick and simple.
