ESAD Eastern Palace Suite Blog Hop

Welcome to another ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) blog hop. Tonight we are featuring the Eastern Palace Suite from Stampin' Up!. You will get to see lots of creative projects from 22 ESAD members - that means 22 reasons to snap up either of the 2 special bundles featuring this suite before the end of May. Whether you are starting with me or have hopped over from visiting my talented friend Kelly, you are in for a real treat.

Earlier in the week I showed you a card set using this suite. In that post you can also see information all about the 2 bundles that you can order. Such a great set of products!

Today I wanted to show you how you can use the suite for other occasions and team it with other stamp sets that you might own. The Eastern Beauty stamp set and coordinating Eastern Medallions Thinlits have so many great design elements for you to use. For this hop I have teamed it with the Better Together stamp set to make a Christmas card ......

...... and a baby card.

As you can see, the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper (DSP) is perfect for any occasion. I really love my Christmas card. Fresh Fig is such a gorgeous colour - actually all of the new In Colours are gorgeous! I love how it looks with Very Vanilla. The Mini Treat Bag thinlits always makes cards that bit more special.

The insert just slides out ........

...... to reveal a message panel on the back.

I didn't know that I needed tassels for crafting. But how elegant do they look on this card???

To make the window is very easy. You can see here how I die cut the 2 pieces. The Eastern Medallions thinlits has lots of nesting pieces. The great thing is you can die cut them all at one. For this medallion I have used 3 of the thinlits. So that the gold medallion lined up perfectly with the Very Vanilla base, I used sticky notes to link the 3 thinlits.

I wanted to make a fresh, modern baby card so I die cut a few elements and played around with them until I was happy. I won't tell you how many that I have left on my desk - let's just say I can make quite a few more cards!

Make sure you hop around to each blog in the hop - you will see so many great projects. If you get lost you will find a participant list at the end of each post so you can get back on track. Next up is the gorgeous and talented Nicole Wilson
