Happy Friday! At Just Add Ink this week we have a lovely inspiration pic to get your creative juices flowing. Isn't it pretty!
Funny story about this card! As I was setting up for my class on Monday my Stampin' Up! order arrived. In it was a new suite of products - Fitting Florets - which are available for demonstrators to order early (customer release is in November). There are beautiful stamps, dies and Designer Series Paper. So back to my story ...... I was showing the ladies at my class the beautiful new products and as we were watercolouring during the class we decided that it would be a shame not to use these products too. So I quickly whipped up this design. The ladies stamped and coloured the flowers. For my card I couldn't resist fussy cutting the flowers and foliage from the gorgeous Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.
I absolutely love the sentiments in the Framed Florets stamp set. The inside of my card says 'For a special person on a special day'. I'd show you but ..... ahem ..... I haven't quite finished it yet! It is somewhere under a pile of things to be done on my desk.
I added in some Very Vanilla and Evening Evergreen glitzy foliage, die cut using the Framed Florets dies and Glimmer Specialty Paper. I can't believe how easily this card came together!
