We have a fun sketch for our challenge at Just Add Ink this week.
Sketches are a really great way to kickstart your creative process .... and that was just what I needed this week! I have used the fabulous Tidings & Trimmings stamp set and coordinating Christmas Trimmings dies with the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. They are all part of the same suite so it all coordinates perfectly.
I pulled the colours of Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Sahara Sand from the DSP and off I went. I have stuck fairly close to the sketch for this one and I think this would be a lovely design to recreate for some Christmas Card mass production action. The DSP is really muted yet pretty at the same time. Love it!
I nearly forgot to tell you about that cute tag. It is from the Tailor Made Tags dies. I used the partial die cut technique to shorten it for my sentiment.
The Tidings and Trimmings stamp set has lots of little images and sentiments so I added a simple design to the inside of my card. Now all I need is more time to sit down and play with this suite of products!
