Just Add Ink #562 - Just Add an inspiration pic - Artistically Inked Christmas

It appears to be Christmas in July at Just Add Ink this week. We have a festive inspiration pic to help spark your creativity.

I immediately took inspiration from the Christmas vibe in the pic. Which was all well and good until I realised that I hadn't yet ordered any of the new Christmas products. Hmmm ..... what to do? So I decided to give a Christmas spin to some my favourite products from the 2021-22 Annual Catalogue and was pretty happy with how it turned out.

I have used the Artistically Inked bundle as my centrepiece. The flowers were stamped in Real Red ink and the leaves in Soft Succulent ink using the Artistically Inked stamp set. The Gold Foil die cut is made using the Artistic dies. So easy and effective and actually looks far more Christmassy than I thought it would look.

Isn't my Soft Succulent card base beautiful? I have used the Stitched Greenery die. It just adds that little bit of something something to projects. And we all need a bit of something something in our life don't we!

Not quite sure why ..... but I had this idea to score my Crumb Cake mat and fold back to give a rounded edge rather than a cut edge. Not sure if it adds anything but you never know, it might become a thing! I also added a flower on the inside of my card. 

My sentiment (from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set) is stamped onto a tag die cut from the Tailor Made Tags dies. I love the reinforced top (not sure what you call it) on the tag. Adds a lovely detail. I have tied it all up with Crumb Cake twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials pack.

Now all I have to do is pop this somewhere safe and findable at Christmas time!
