Stamp Review Crew - Many Messages

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. You can find the complete list of all the crew hopping today here. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Many Messages stamp set. It coordinates with the Messages Die.

The Many Messages stamp set is one large stamp with all of the sentiments on it. I like to stamp and die cut in many colours so that I have sentiments on hand when I need a card in a hurry. For today's card I have stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with Gold embossing powder. All of these sentiments are perfect for card sets and several of them work together so you can use some inside the cards as well.

For my card set I have used Basic White Assorted Memories and More Cards and Envelopes as my base. Then I have added the soon to be retiring the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate.

The paper is just so pretty that I decided to let it shine. I had intended to cut it up into strips but loved it with the narrow mat of Basic Black cardstock behind. I have also used twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.

Putting the cards together is quite easy and fun. I have designed these for an upcoming class that may or not be in person ... things change so quickly at the moment! So once the sentiments were stamped and die cut, I grouped them into sets that go together. For the large cards I have cut my DSP and Acetate into 6" x 4" pieces. I love that 2 of the Acetate pieces work as overlays for 2 of the DSP pieces. To adhere the acetate to the DSP,  I have added tape or glue dots underneath the sentiments for that you can't see it. My mats in Basic Black are 1/16" larger than the DSP for both card sizes.

The DSP and acetate certainly are lovely and the sentiments from the Many Messages stamp really do compliment them. I have raised them with dimensionals.

The DSP is hand painted. You can check out how the artist created it here

I have used the 3rd piece of acetate on the inside of my large card underneath the complimentary sentiments.

The DSP for my small cards was cut 3" x 4" and matted with the Basic Black 1/16" larger.

I hope that I have been able to show you how versatile and easy it is to create with the Many Messages stamp set. I also know that there is a new stamp set coming to the Annual catalogue that coordinates with the Messages Dies. Yay!

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is Cindy Elam. I can't wait to see her creations.
