Social Stamping - Celebration - Little Treats

Happy Saturday! Thanks for joining us for another Social Stamping Blog hop, hosted by my fabulous friend, Kelly Kent. Kelly started these hops as a way of keeping us all connected when we were all in lock down or on restrictions due to COVID-19. Little did we know that 6 months on many of us would still be in the same sitch! Ahhhhh! So let's just say that hops like this, with friends who I treasure are such a lifeline for me. In saying that I nearly pulled out of this one as I didn't think I would be able to make a project in time as I was spending quite a bit of time trying to locate my mojo! Still haven't really found it!

The Little Treats Bundle just arrived this week so I decided to have a play with it as it is perfect for the theme of our hop - Celebrate! Stampin' Up! puts a lot of time into developing products so that they can be used easily. Perfect for those times when you haven't got that creative spark to get you started on your own. So here are the little treat boxes that I came up with. Nothing ground breaking or new ... but cute none the less!

The scallop and stitched details on the box mean that you don't actually have to add a lot extra. The hard (design) work has already been done for you!

I've just added a Brushed Metallic cardsctock scallop (also in the Little Treats Bundle) and a circle of 'Tis The Season Designer Series Paper. One of the Wonderful Gems in the centre finished off my front design. The box is tied shut with a bow in this fab gold cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack. Love that too!

I had my pack of Brushed Metallic cardsctock out so I die cut a box from it. By the way, these boxes are so easy to put together. They actually don't need any adhesive, although you can use it if you prefer. The Little Treats Bundle has you covered for lots of celebratory events. Even weddings! Wouldn't these look cute as thank you gifts filled with some yummy thing?

The Embroidered Ribbon is so gorgeous. Check out that texture! And don't you just love the rings! I can see me whipping up some engagement cards using them.

Every time I tied the ribbon it hid the lovely scallop and stitched details so I used the small tag as an anchor on the back. I thought it would look great with the Bride and Groom's names on there along with the wedding date.

Now this one is a bit out there. It is the first one I made. I (for some reason) had the idea to make a shirt front using the Plaid Tidings DSP. I love the DSP and think this is cute but I have no idea what I would put inside it! But at least I now have a great little treat box for a male celebrating something!

I chopped off the scallop tops and folded the collar from a strip of the DSP.  The sleeves are 2 small rectangles stuck on at an angle. I just played until it looked shirtlike!

The Little Treats Bundle is so easy to use and means you can quickly whip up treat boxes in no time. The stamp set has you covered for lots of occasions so you will get so much use out of it. When my mojo turns up I'll make some more things to show you with it!

Next up you are off to visit Sandra Collett. She is sure to have something worth celebrating to show us. If you get lost or want to see the full list of participants click here to see it.
