Hi and welcome to our ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) blog hop. We are all showcasing fabulous new products from the new 2020-21 Annual Catalogue. Stampin' Up! have outdone themselves again! Throughout the hop you are sure to find products you hadn't noticed and realise you can't live without them! Click the 'next blog' arrow on each post to hop around.
This new catalogue is just so fabulous. I think it was so popular on the first day that it was launched and there were so many orders that boxes took a bit longer to get delivered. So my new goodies only just arrived. I did have plans to make some gorgeous cards using the Playful Pets Suite but this weekend I got a life! Short story - after many months in iso due to a health condition, I was able to see (even if it was socially distanced) some family members plus I was thoroughly spoilt by my wonderful husband for our 22 nd wedding anniversary. So I've had a much needed mental boost but crafting was not on the agenda.
I do have a few simple cards to share though. I made these for my catalogue launch a few weeks ago which I held via Zoom. I was showing how quickly and easily you can whip up cards using the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper. The gold side is really pretty but so is the back side. It is white and for this card I have simply paired it with Misty Moonlight and Whisper White foliage from the Forever Fern bundle.
If you haven't had a chance to look at the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, you really should! It is perfect to use for sentiments and you can even punch a hole to thread ribbon or twine through for some extra detail. Simple, yet effective.
The Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper has so many elements on each sheet. I love these larger pieces that are great for putting a card together quickly. Some Just Jade cardstock and ribbon and a background embossed with the fab Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder were all I needed to finish my design.
So sorry that I didn't have the cards that I had intended to show .... but getting a life for the weekend (was a bit like day release!) was well worth digging up these simple (ish) cards.
The other products that I already had (the perks of being a Demonstrator and being able to pre-order) and just adore are the Jar of Flowers stamp set and coordinating Jar Punch. This is a really fabulous bundle that you can do so much with. You can use it to make super simple cards like this Get Well Soon card where I have stamped the flowers straight onto the card front, coloured and added in a punched jar. Very simple!
Then if you wanted to get a bit fancy you could try a fancy fold such as this Tri-fold card. I have shared this before but .... you may have missed it .... and I love it .... so it's worth showing twice! It uses the Mason Jar Shaker Domes and In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. So here is it folded ready to pop in an envelope ......
..... and here it is open and on display. This is part of a tutorial bundle - details at the end of this post.
I am so looking forward to seeing what the other talented ESADers have come up with. Make sure you hop around to each blog. And once you get your wishlist sorted, I can help you order those goodies! Next up you are off to see the fabulous Denise Buetler. I can't wait to see what she has made for us.
