Just Add Ink #500 - Just Add a Die Cut Word

Thanks for checking in on this Good Friday. I hope that you are safe and well and finding some wonderful things to do in this time of forced confinement. I may just have the thing to keep you occupied! Our challenge at Just Add Ink this week is a great one. We are asking you to just add a Die Cut Word. All of the design team are participating for this milestone challenge. It is our 500th! What a great achievement that is! Thank you to all of you who participate, cheer us on and check out out blog posts. We appreciate it more than you will ever know.

I have been using my Botanical Prints Product Medley a lot lately but I haven't really used the Designer Series Paper so today was the day! I've used 2 different designs of DSP for my card. I love that they have the same colours in them, just a different design.

From each piece of DSP I have die cut a stitched rectangle and switched the die cut middles over. It is a subtle design feature but I like it!

The product medley comes with a stamp set and dies. The dies work with some of the images in the DSP too, just like my flower here. I've used one of the labels from the kit to help highlight my die cut 'birthday'. The Well Written dies have lots of words dies for you to choose from and the Well Said stamp set has word stamps to compliment the die cut words.

My die cut word is 3 layers of cardstock stuck together. To keep it raised on the end where it is dangling in mid air, I have popped some rolled up glue dots under each letter. You can sort of see in this side shot.

This is the second version I did. Same same but different!

Make sure you check out what each of the team has come up with. Next up is my fab friend, Kelly Kent.

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members added a die cut word. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
