Just Add Ink #488 - Just Add a Celebration

Hi and welcome to our first Just Add Ink challenge of the year! This is a special one! We are celebrating 10 years of challenges and 1000 followers. Woohoo! We have a blog hop to kick off the challenge and our theme is 'Celebrate'. Oh and to say thank you to all of you who participate, look at our blogs, comment on our creations and generally support us we have some fabulous prizes up for grabs. Make sure you enter to be in with a chance to get one of these fabulous prizes.

With the theme of celebrate, there was so many occasions to choose from. I decided to make a birthday card using the Grace's Garden bundle and the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set, Sending you Thoughts. You can follow this link to find all of the products that I have used. (PS - all you have to do is add one small item to the Grace's Garden bundle to earn the free stamp set or something else from the brochure.)

This fab bundle has so many great images and matching dies that putting the card together is really easy. I used the solid arch to cut through the card front and brick wall .....

.... and cut the gate apart ......

..... so that you can see the second part of the message inside.

Stamping the envelope and colouring all images with Stampin' Blends made quick work of this card!

I love that you can see through  into the inside of the card!

To give that gorgous embossed wall a bit of definition, I have used a blending brush and some Sahara Sand ink to highlight the brick work.

Before you hop over to all of the other blogs, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who support us at Just Add Ink. We really appreciate it. And to all the Design Team members (present and past) you ROCK! Happy Birthday girls!

Make sure you hop around to each blog to see what the rest of the design team have created. Next up is the fabulous Tina Gillespie.

Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!
