Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!
For this hop we are featuring the Still Scenes stamp set.
It is a really lovely stamp set that coordinates with the Snow Globe Scenes dies. I must say I have used this bundle a lot already and most of my cards have not been Christmas ones. You can see some other ways I have used this stamp set here and here. And as I just can't seem to get Christmassy yet ... well to be fair ... it is still October ..... I have used this stamp set for a wedding card!
I have been asked lately to make some traditional wedding cards and as soon as I saw the Snow Globe Scenes dies I knew that the church dies would be fab for this. I've added some silver foil behind the windows and layered them with some Soft Sea Foam trees (another die in the set).
These die cut pieces look great when raised with dimensionals. Dimensionals are like the high heels of the craft world don't you think? Behind the main panel I have added a piece of Whisper White cardstock embossed using the Scripty 3D embossing folder. I love how raised that embossing is!
So far I have told you all about how I used everything but the stamp set! Well I did use one of the sentiments. Well part of it anyway. With a bit of masking so that a few words were deleted and some were rearranged, I got a lovely wedding message! I am always really pleased when I can use a stamp set for lots of occasions, especially more than were intended. I know that I will make many more Christmas cards with this set .... just a little closer to December!
Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is Heidi. I can't wait to see what fabulous things she did with this stamp set.

ReplyDeleteI love that you created a little scene without the snow globe framing. I didn't think of that, and it is lovely!
