Stamp Review Crew - Jar of Flowers

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring the Jar of Flowers stamp set. It coordinates with the fab Jar Punch.

I REALLY love this stamp and punch bundle and I have used it a lot! What I really love about it is that you can make a whole range of projects from super simple to really complicated and fancy. My projects for today's hop are super simple. I love to have some cards on hand that I can use for any occasion and I am finding that the Assorted Memories & More Cards and Envelopes are the perfect base. You get 2 sizes in the pack and they are beautiful to use.

Now I did say today's card are super simple. Even though they are quick to whip up, I still think they look elegant and that you took some time and care with them.

Wondering where the stripy and solid stamps came from? They are the straw stamp in the set. You can use either side to stamp - one is solid and the other is stripy. How nifty is that!

To decorate the stripes I have stamped, coloured with Melon Mambo and Just Jade Stampin' Blends and fussy cut this gorgeous rose. That is the beauty of this stamp set - you can use the floral arrangements or just one flower! Pop the flower up on a dimensional and throw in a bow using the twine from the Playful Pets trim combo pack and you are good to go!

The smaller cards are cute but still a great size. I have used the same design as my first card but used Petal Pink Stampin' Blends to colour my bloom.

Adding some gold twine from the Forever Greenery trim combo pack and some Elegant Faceted Gems add in a touch of glam!

I mentioned at the beginning of this post that you can also make really fancy cards too using this bundle. Now I have previously shared this card but thought you might like to see it (in case you missed it!). It is a really fun fold that is part of a tutorial bundle. If it is something you are interesting you can find the details at the end of this post.

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. Next up is my fabulous friend, Nikki Spencer. She is sure to wow us all!

  1. All of these are lovely, but I’m struck by the uncluttered look of the first one.
