Just Add Ink #458 - Just Add a Q, X, Y, or Z - Sailing Home

Hi Everyone. Hope you are having a fab week. The Just Add Ink Design Team have a fun challenge to kick off your weekend creating. All you have to do is choose one of the letters below and add an element, technique or something starting with it.

I went with Yachts in the style of YesterYear! I must admit this challenge had me stumped at first!

The stamped images are from the Sailing Home stamp set. The coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies give a really professional finish when die cutting. I love this stitched banner too!

And don't you just love the vintage feel of that Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper? There are so many great designs in that pack and they can be used for so much more than nautical themes. Did you spy that cute metal steering wheel - do you call it that on a yacht? They are actually silver so I used my Soft Suede Stampin' Blend to colour it so that it was more in the style I was after. I love that you can custom and coordinate!

I slightly crumpled my DSP, turned some edges a bit and adhered it on a bit skewwiff for no other reason than I felt like it!
